Kevin Birchfield, a native of Cincinnati earned his degree in Audio/Video Production from Brown Mackie College by studying hard and learning everything he could about the mechanics of movie making. Kevin told me “just because you know how a watch works, doesn’t mean you can make a high quality watch.”

His unique style in cinematography and editing won him top honors. As a video editor Kevin continues to squeeze every bit of magic out of the film, as a result you are left with a feeling you just experienced something amazing. It’s the creative element that you can’t be taught. “It’s kind of like thinking through your heart.” Kevin said. As the Producer of KoBi Pictures he is a true master of his craft and has become one of the most requested Producers in the Midwest.

T.W. Komisar, originally from Los Angeles, California, started out in the entertainment industry playing his music all over the world. As the co-founder and guitarist of the legendary cult punk rock band BADTOWN BOYS. T.W. said “You just gotta’ put it out there, it’s like every show is a bloodletting.”  Since he was young, T.W. loved writing. He puts his heart and soul into his characters and it shows as they jump from the screen and right into your life. Their language is rough, gritty and as real as everyday life. As the Director, T.W. is also able use his unique vision to bring their edgy, horrifying and sometimes-hilarious stories to life. T.W. told me “I like to watch their faces as people experience our movies for the first time.”

There is no doubt that as a team, Kevin and T.W. will be the most talked about independent filmmakers in the country.
